Do you like to Entertain? Host a House Concert!

In the style of music performance from the days of Mozart, you can host a private concert for your family, friends and invited guests! Virtuoso and composer William Zeitler will perform on the rare instrument invented by Benjamin Franklin… The NAME_GlassArmonica! This instrument’s magical sound was thought to be both healing and uplifting to all those who heard its ethereal tones. The entertainment and history brought to you by William is an experience you and your guests will not soon forget.

The idea is really as simple: you can have an intimate concert, in a party like setting, with, say, 30 of your friends in your home.

Here are a few considerations:

• William needs about 8' across and 5' deep to play, plus you'll need space for your guests. This doesn't have to be inside—maybe your back yard and lawn chairs for your guests ('bring your own chair'!). Or a club-house. Or...

• William needs an electrical outlet, and access to running water. He brings everything else. If the performance is outside, he has an appropriate P.A. system to use if necessary.

• William also has portable power, so a 'house concert' could be held almost anywhere. (This requires more preparation.)

• Where William is going to play must be 'wheel-chair accessible'—the glass armonica case is about 2' deep by 2' high by 5' long and weighs close to 200lbs, so going up a flight of stairs is just not feasible.

• Obviously William needs to make a living. How much he needs to make from a given house concert depends on various factors, the single biggest being the expense of traveling. But to give you an idea, here is one possible financial arrangment: for a house concert where travel is minimal, and 30 people come, each guest will pay a cover of $20 which will INCLUDE a CD from William's library! William will also have all of his CD Library available for purchase at the special rate of $12 each. This is only one possible financial senario, and we are open to any suggestions.
